The African Pulse links Europe and Southern Africa
On 1st January 2010 The African Pulse is to launch a new project called Youth Action Xchange. It is an HIV & AIDS education project which links students and teachers in 1,000 schools in Europe with 500 schools in Southern Africa. They will share stories and learn from each other about HIV & AIDS through an online community called rafi.ki. Together they will lobby their respective governments to influence HIV & AIDS policy. The project has been awarded €135,000 of EU funding and we are now seeking €45,000 of matched funding.
