Youth Action Xchange

We are pleased to announce that The African Pulse has partnered with Gemin-i (http://gemini.org.uk/) to deliver an EU-funded project. Youth Action Xchange is a pioneering interactive online HIV & AIDS education project connecting 500 schools across Southern Africa with each other and 1,000 schools in Europe.

Gemin-i is an educational charity helping children around the world share ideas and work together for a brighter future.

Over 3 years, Youth Action Xchange (YAX) will raise awareness, improve understanding and facilitate collaborative action amongst young people, such as influencing government policy on HIV & AIDS. This will be achieved through a facilitated online community of schools using innovative educational resources and tools delivered through multiple media channels (online, print and mobile).
