Red Lion June 2007 Fundraiser – where are they now?

In June 2007, we ran a music event at The Red Lion pub in Twickenham. It was organised by David McGeachie, who ran The Sunday Jam sessions at The Red Lion. The music was provided by local band Marner Brown, Josie Fields from South Africa (performing her first European gig) and Culture Clash (comprising Rise Kagona of Bhundu Boys fame and Doug Veitch). The event was sponsored by One Water who generously gave us a pallet of their bottled water to give away at the event. We think about 100 people came along over the evening and we raised over £1,200. So 3 years on what has happened in the intervening years with the venue, musicians and sponsors. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be posting entries on the blog to update you!
