The African Pulse is a UK-registered charity (Reg. No. 1104994) and was awarded charitable status in October 2004.

Prior to this, a UK-based management consultancy, Growth International Limited (established in 1991) (link opens in a new window) was the driving force that supported and developed the vision of The African Pulse.
